Basics of Fluid Mechanics

A new version of the book was released.

On 21st Dec 2011, a new version 0.3.3.0 (617 pages 4.8M) was released. While this book is in the more advance stage, it contains the best chapter on Fluid Statics and one of the best on Reynolds Transport Theory (mass conservation). Fundamentals of Compressible Flow Mechanics

On 17th March 2013, the latest version 0.4.9.8 (3.8M 465 pages) was released. Release Notes, ChangeLog, Download. This release is a include extensive discussion about shock tube.

Potto Gas Dynamics Calculator

On 25th January 2008, the latest version 0.5.1 was released. This version, as far as we know, provides by far the best and the most extensive gas dynamics calculations. Now, it also generates the oblique shock figure to any arbitrary specific heat, k. Release Notes, ChangeLog, Software.

The books, software and tables can be downloaded from here. The books are available in source (LaTeX), dvi, postscript, pdf. The software is available in source and executable, no rpm yet (sorry).
